本工艺为逆流烘干，负压操作，其直接优点为：一是热利用率高，二是进湿泥端的尾气将湿泥预热，湿泥中的水分已潮气的形式散发出来，将从筒体尾部成品颗粒端的粉尘大部分吸附降解在筒体内进行内部循环，从而从干燥机系统出来的粉尘很少！

污泥破碎机适用于60%水分的污泥及其他物料的粉碎，该机特点为：主轴带动多组刀片高速旋转，壳体内衬特殊材料齿条式反击衬板，物料通过刀片和衬板间隙时被高速撞击、研磨而粉碎。该机原料适应性广、可以直接破碎含水量60%以下的多种有机物料，可以用于养殖场、造纸厂、糠醛厂、生活垃圾等污泥的使用。小于200mm的污泥都可以进入粉碎机，破碎率平均达到90%以上。
