该工艺的特点是利用锅炉烟道气余热，不需要新增热源，真的做到了节能、降耗、环保、以废制废。

本工艺为逆流烘干，负压操作，其直接优点为：一是热利用率高，二是进湿泥端的尾气将湿泥预热，湿泥中的水分已潮气的形式散发出来，将从筒体尾部成品颗粒端的粉尘大部分吸附降解在筒体内进行内部循环，从而从干燥机系统出来的粉尘很少！
